My love of adventure started long before I began writing. That’s me on the right, sword in hand, ready to do battle. Zorro, Hercules, Tarzan: I think it all culminated in my latest – EXPEDITION BORNEO.
On July 10th, when I read an excerpt from EXPEDITION BORNEO, I’m going to introduce the reading world to Jake and Katherine. Meet two characters, thrown together on an island in the South Pacific in 1941, during a time when the world is in turmoil. A classic adventure story, EXPEDITION BORNEO is a mix of The African Queen, Romancing the Stone and Raiders of the Lost Ark. For the younger audience, think of Tomb Raider, The Lost City or The Jungle Cruise.
Now, despite that opening remark, and the constant danger faced by our intrepid heroes, it’s a romantic adventure story.
